New Vice President for Stageworks Worldwide Productions

Stageworks Worldwide Productions have appointed Alexa Robinson as Vice President and board member of BLAC (Blackpool Leisure and Amusement Consultancy).

 

With many years of experience in the entertainment and hospitality industry, Alexa will oversee the operations of Stageworks and entertainment at the 42-acre amusement park.

 

Alexa trained at the Amanda McGlynn Academy in Middleborough before winning a full scholarship to complete her training at the prestigious Italia Conti Theatre School in London. Alexa has had a lot of theatre experience such as, Love Never Dies, for Andrew Lloyd Webber, the UK tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and starred as a contortionist in Mystique at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

 

More recently Alexa has lent her talents to the Production side of the business having taken on the role as Company Manager for Hot Ice at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Alongside prior experience working for ‘Mass Movement Talent Management’ in London, Alexa’s knowledge of performance and artistry continues to expand and be utilised and currently she plays a key role as Casting Coordinator for all SWWP Productions and Associate Director for SWWP Pantomimes productions.

 

In her role at Stageworks Worldwide Productions, Alexa has worked in all aspects show organization and production and has been a part of numerous successful productions of Hot Ice, Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s Christmas Party Night Shows and the annual Stageworks Worldwide Productions Pantomime which is held at King George’s Hall in Blackpool.

 

Stageworks Worldwide Productions is responsible for all the entertainments and logistics at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and has contracts around the world for some of the biggest stage and ice shows.

 

The company also designs and makes costumes for shows across the globe from its purpose-built wardrobe department at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, including the world’s longest running ice show, Hot Ice, which runs throughout the summer season at The Arena.
